ABOUT PROJECT LEAD
Are you a leader? Ready to prepare for your first job? Do you love your hometown and want to make it better? Do you feel like you have skills and energy and are looking for a place to apply them. Look no further for that opportunity to put your abilities to use and have some summer fun! Project Lead brings together middle and high school age youth in the Town of Dryden. Together, we have fun, learn more about our community, and develop important workplace skills for a first-time job.
Each session, we will engage in community service projects, workshops, and recreational activities. At the end, participants will receive a gift certificate to a local business, an "Employment Eligibility" certificate, and other cool perks!
Each session runs for two weeks, four full days per week, Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Participants will be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian at Montgomery Park each day. Program staff will transport youth from Montgomery Park to our project partners. Project partners switch every session; participants and families will receive specific schedules prior to each session. If you would like to register but cannot transport your child to program, please contact the Program Manager. We might be able to help with that!
